Hello dears!

It's not that I'm picking favorites. I'm really not. But Tayler and JT were so wonderful to work with, I wish they would get married again just so we could go through the process all over again! Their wedding was just so fun and laid back, I was sad when it was time to leave. I particularly love the bridesmaids shots we got....it pretty much sums up the hilarious dynamic of the whole wedding party.

I had never shot at the Festivities Event Center in El Reno before, but I immediately fell in love with it's vintage charm and the loads of natural light filling all the rooms. I would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a unique venue! Tayler and JT's travel theme fit in perfectly here, and I adore all their decorations. I'm still drooling over the color palette, with the cool blue and green tones for the bridesmaids dresses, and the soft pastel pinks in the flower arrangements. Perfection! Their wedding day truly reflected their sweet and honest love, and I was honored to be a part of it.

Chandy + Tanner ·Rustic Wedding in Pagosa Springs·

Hello dears!

You might notice the wedding sign that gives me away....this wedding is from last July. I know! I know. I'm still getting the hang of this blogging thing. We'll just consider this a "throwback" post....ok?

But let's get to the real point of this post! I was beyond honored and excited when Chandy asked me to photograph their wedding journey. I had the pleasure of watching Chandy and Tanner's relationship grow, as Chandy and I worked together back in the day. It was so fun to see it go from the first date, to facebook offical, to "he might be the one", to engaged and married! Both coming from very tight-knit families, the couple instantly knew they wanted their wedding to reflect that connection. What resulted was a weeklong celebration with their closest family members at a private estate in Pagosa Springs, Colorado! The bride's dad made the pergola where their ceremony was held, and the aunts created the beautiful floral arrangements in the hours before the wedding. All of the little details throughout the day were a perfect reflection of Chandy and Tanner's love. Effortless, from the heart, and beautiful...their wedding day was pure perfection!

Oh, and Colorado sure put on a show for the wedding! Cloudy skies, rainstorms, crisp air, and a surprise guest who tried to crash the party not once, but twice!
