Chelle + Eric ·A Vintage Styled Engagement Session in the Fields of Oklahoma·

Hello dears!​

​Chelle and Eric here are just about the sweetest couple ever.  They met back when they were just kids, and started dating their junior year of high school.  Yes, high school sweethearts, kids.  I don't know if there's anything I like more than a good ol' Oklahoma love story, and these two are the real deal.  

​When Chelle started pinning the cutest engagement inspirations on Pinterest, I knew I wanted to create something awesome for their photos.  After gathering up some of my props (and home decor), I put together some flower arrangements and headed off to the fields!  I love that Chelle included a quilt that was special to them, and I totally adored her idea to pop some bubbly during the session!  

​Aren't they just the most gorgeous pair of lovebirds you've ever seen?  I'm going totally bananas for this session!

There was just one little hiccup with this next pose.....​

​But we all got a good laugh out of it, and then they totally nailed the shot.

Sigh...I love my job.​

Kara ·Bridals at the OKC Capitol·

Hello dears!​

​First off, I just want to say thank you to all of our sweet clients, friends, family, and even some strangers out there!  Last week the town I've called home almost my entire life was hit by a devastating tornado.  We are so lucky that our loved ones are all okay, and our home received only minor damage, but we wanted to say thanks to all of you sweethearts out there who offered help to Dustyn and myself.  Whether it was an extra hand cleaning up our home, bottles of water and hot meals being walked around by strangers, margaritas at noon with a friend (if you don't take a mental break sometimes, you'll just go crazy), or the locksmith who helped us into our home and refused to let us pay him, THANK YOU.  

​And one last big thanks to everyone who has helped Moore in the last week.  You don't know much it means to us.  <3

​Okay, on to the real reason for this post!!

Now that Kara and Matt are hitched, I can share her stunning bridals with you!  Kara is such a natural beauty, and she made the most beautiful bride.  I wanted to make sure I did her justice with these bridals, and when she suggested the Oklahoma City Capitol as the location....it was magic.  And.she.totally.werked.it.

Tayler + JT ·Gettin' Lovey in the Paseo· OKC Engagements

Hello dears!​

These two lovebirds have such fun personalities, I knew instantly that we needed a vibrant setting for their engagement photos.  Add in the fact that they love to travel (which is reflected in their wedding theme) and you've got the perfect location: The Paseo.  I personally love that it has a slightly European feel to it, with tons of vibrant colors and architecture.  I brought along a few vintage suitcases to give it that extra special touch, and I absolutely love the way everything turned out!  ​

​Can't wait for your July wedding, Tayler and JT!  It's going to be a BLAST.

I couldn't help but snap a few portraits of Tayler while JT changed into his first outfit.  She's such a beauty.​
