​Hello dears!

​Remember ​Revel Eight?  Well, their official Grand Opening was last month and it was pretty much THE place to be!

What's that?  You missed it?  Or maybe you were there and had a little too much fun, so you've kind of forgotten it?  Don't sweat it.  Here's a fun little recap for you...

A few of the stylists designed and created the models' outfits, which looked FREAKING AWESOME.  I love how they used everyday items like magazines, Ikea bags, wire, and floppy disks to create these one-of-a-kind ​styles.  I can't imagine it would be easy to stand on boxes for hours, modeling your heart out...but these three ladies totally killed it, and rocked their extreme looks without even breaking a sweat.  Props to all of the Revel Eight team (and the models, bartender, and dj!) for putting together this kick-ass grand opening!

A Sunny Day in McLoud with Andrew ·2 Year Lifestyle Portraits·

Hello Dears!

I've been photographing the Austin family and all their grandkids for a few years now, and I swear these kids just keep getting cuter.  Andrew turned two earlier this year, and we decided to center the photos around his favorite thing: being outside!  So I headed to Andrew's NeNe's house in McLoud for a fun lifestyle session, and I absolutely love the way it turned out!  Andrew had so much fun playing, he almost​ forgot I was there.  And I couldn't help taking a few photos of his adorable sister Brooklynn, in case you're wondering who that cutie is in the last few photos.

Hello dears!​

Get ready, because you're about to be "in the know."  

Revel Eight Salon & Spa is pretty much the most legit salon Oklahoma has ever seen, and I'm not just saying that.  The Revel Eight team is a group of dedicated artists who are creating inspiring looks like you've never seen, and they're doing it in a really badass space.  I mean, these people are flying to LA so they can learn the latest styles and techniques from hair masters.  It's more than a job to them, it's a craft.  And they are conquering that craft one Okie hairdo at a time.  

My dear friend Claire is the owner and creative genius behind Revel Eight, and she is the real deal.  Supremely talented with an awesome drive and uplifting spirit, Claire is one of a kind.  What I'm saying is, she books up fast, people!  What are you waiting for??​  Side note: Claire's husband, Tony, put a ton of hard work and long hours into the creation of the salon.  It makes me so proud seeing all of these awesome family businesses flourishing in OKC!

Revel Eight offers 12 stylists, an aromatherapist, a massage therapist, an esthetician, and a nail tech.  Whew, I think that pretty much covers your bases!  ​Did I mention that you can also enjoy a glass of wine or coffee while being pampered by OKC's best?  If that's not luxury, I don't know what is.
