Hello Dears!

There are so many things I love about this session, I don't even know where to start! Tyler and Lacey are some of the most easy-going people I've worked with, which made the session a total dream. And speaking of total dreams, Baby Silas wasn't too bad either. Judging by how easy it was to get him to fall AND stay asleep, I'd say Silas takes after his super chill parents. 

Their cozy home was chock-full of unique decor, which really helps their personalities shine through in their images. Everything worked together so beautifully to create a serene space full of warm colors and good vibes. Yes please.

Silas' nursery was also overflowing with treasures, like the cute lil' pennant flag with his name on it. I love all the personalized decorations, because they can make for a special keepsake in the future. (Nothing like hoarding everything that ever belonged to your baby, right??)

Baby Guthrie ·OKC Newborn Photography·

Hello Dears!

Cassi and Joe recently welcomed sweet baby Guthrie into the world, and I'm so excited for you to meet him! This family holds a special place in my heart because aside from being good friends of mine, I've also been lucky enough to photograph their engagement, wedding, and now for their newborn session. I've really loved being able to capture each of these different seasons of their lives, especially because  at their home in Mesta Park. Each time, we've recreated the photo of the whole family sitting on the front porch step, which perfectly illustrates the growth of their family!

One major bonus when you photograph friends' babies is that you get extra cuddles without seeming too creepy. I'm seriously always up for baby snuggles. 

Lucky little Guthrie has an awesome big sister, Josi, whom I've been snapping photos of since she was a waddlin' one-year-old. I'm positive she's up for the big sister gig, I mean just look at that proud big sis smile! 

And can we talk for a brief, important moment about Guthrie's nursery?! Okie love + tons of natural light are enough to make me sing. Plus, the name Guthrie pretty much rules, am I right?

Hello dears!

Sweet Cora was born in early May, and her momma, Jacquelynn, wanted to capture her newborn photos in their new house in Mesta Park....um, yaaassss. Jacquelynn and her husband are renovating their new home, so we primarily shot in the master bedroom and nursery. But because I'm me, I insisted we do a few shots in the downstairs area pre-renovation, just so they could have a fun before+after.  

I also love that they dressed in clothes that compliment the decor in their home. It's a great way to ensure that any artwork you display looks good hanging in your home!
